• Viscose

However, the actual fiber is processed chemically. In terms of comfort, viscose is similar to cotton but softer and silkier. 

Viscose silks are softer than rayons, so this clothing tends to hang better. To iron a viscose silk blouse, place a damp cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric. Iron slowly and carefully; start at the lowest temperature setting and gradually increase it until you find what works best for your fabric.

• Silk

Silk is a luxurious fabric made from the silkworm’s cocoons. Since antique silk garments are often very expensive, special care should be taken not to damage them. After washing, it is recommended not to wring them to avoid deforming the fabric.

Silk behaves similarly to cotton at the ironing temperature. As you would with a cotton garment, turn the silk garment inside out to protect its “right” side from scorch marks if you accidentally apply too much heat.
